Kawasaki Motors has issued a significant recall affecting approximately 39,000 John Deere ZTrak Zero Turn Mowers in the U.S. and 2,600 units in Canada due to a defect in the engine’s voltage regulator. This issue poses a serious risk of overheating, potentially leading to fires or burn injuries.


The recall, announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), includes units sold at authorized John Deere dealerships between October 2018 and September 2024.

The Cause of the Recall: Engine Voltage Regulator Failure
